This week is going to be an inspiration-filled, fun-filled festival during our team’s Creatastic Blog Hop. Join us each day as we share amazing projects created by our Design Team members. The Crafter’s Workshop Design Team will be sharing projects they create over on their site too. Both teams will be using Susan K Weckesser Inc products as well as stencils by The Crafter’s Workshop.
Now, make sure you visit both blogs, because we are going to have some fun prize packages given away each day on both sites. You need to leave comments each day for a chance to win! We also encourage you to stop by and become a fan of Susan K Weckesser Facebook Page and The Crafter’s Workshop Facebook Page.
Let’s jump in today with a Creatastic Banner by Larissa with Muffins and Lace
Good morning everyone. Larissa here with a banner I created using TCW stencils and Susan K Weckesser stamps.
I started out taking some wooden pumpkins and painting them with orange craft paint. I painted the top of each with brown paint.
Once the paint was dry which it did not take very long I grabbed my modeling paste and spatula. I chose to work with two different stencils from TCW Mini Beaded Curtain and Vineyard. I took a little paste and my spatula and spread a light coat over the top of the stencil. Making sure to drag across the stencil to get the excess off.
I did all 9 pumpkins. While they were drying I painted chipboard letters in a metallic gold. I also stamped 2 of my favorite little gnome from Susan K Weckesser. I colored them using my Copic markers.
I glued the letters and gnomies down with Tombow Mono Multi adhesive. I then glued brown glittery ribbon on each pumpkin connecting them together.
I attached two orange bows one on each end.
This project was so much fun and super simple. The stencils added a finishing touch to the pumpkins.
Hope you enjoyed my post today.
Have a great rest of your day.
Don’t forget to leave a comment here and over at The Crafter’s Workshop for a chance to win a prize that will be given away each day!
