"Change" layout by Vicky Varvadouka

Hello lovely people!!xx

Today I am sharing with you my last project as a member of this fabulous DT!!
It's been a wonderful journey and adventure in a colorful and happy world! That's how it feels working with Susan's happy products!!!xx

"Change all around"

Spring has arrived in my part of the world and you can see the change in everything!!
Nature comes alive, happy colors are everywhere and people are smiling!
Oh, how much I love Spring!!!

I have used papers from Susan's Whimsical collection. To soften the bold background I have spread some gesso using an old credit card! I fussy cut that lovely house and used some heart shaped gems for the smoke coming out of the chimney.

Here and there you can see some blue circles! I made them using the stamp "In Circle Me" !!!

I used Susan's stencil and Smooch to color the canvas heart!

This photo was taken when we went on an excursion and my little ones loved picking up flowers!!!
We had a great time and it was worth capturing the memory!!

I would like to thank Susan for giving me this awesome opportunity to play with her lovely products and all the gorgeous and talented girls in the team for making my stay such a lovely experience!!

Have a nice day,
Live your lives in full color,
Be creative and enjoy every single moment!
Cheers!!!xxx

A loving home..by Vicky

Hello dear friends!
Happy Valentine's day!!!
Love is in the air!!!
There are many kinds of love...love for our children, love for our man/woman, love for our parents...
Love for life!!!

Today I will share with you a project I made for my loving dies...lol
I made a sweet home to store them!!! So, there can be also love for our favorite things!!!
And here it is:

It is very simple and very handy!!! I used my bind-it-all and some CD holders!
For the cover I have used Susan's whimsical papers and "little haven" gorgeous stamp!

But I have also made a card for my loving mother!
I have used the stamp "In circle me" which I heat embossed with clear UTEE on white cardstock and then I took my distress inks and I did the resist technique. I applied the inks with a sponge! Very simple and very impressive! I then stamped and cut out the lady from "Motherhood is a verb" and the little girl from "Grandma's needlepoint".
Tada.....

So, I made something different this time instead of hubby & me...
But as I said...there are many kinds of love and we should all show it every way we can!

Love yourself,
love the people around you,
love nature,
love LIFE!!!!
And give as much love as you can!
I promise, you will be rewarded!
With love,
Vicky

"Live, love, create" and my little helpers - by Vicky

Hello everyone!!

I have always wanted to incorporate my children's drawings into a layout!
I wanted them to remember how their creativity looked like in different stages of their childhood.

My dd Nefeli is now 5 years old and she is in the stage where she always draws houses, people, trees, flowers and of course a bright sun!!!
So when I saw Susan's house stamp, a great idea came to my mind!!! I got my children to play with it!!!

Let me just tell you that they were thrilled!!! Nefeli even played with Susan's fab stencil!!!

And this is Ioli...

Here is the final layout! Every child next to its own little house!!

Here is another stamp called "Grandma's needlepoint" and the house has been cut out from Susan's paper collection.

The sun is from Susan's paper collection too!!!

So, why don't you try that out??? I promise that your children will love the idea of playing with mama's "forbidden" goodies and the outcome will be a precious layout that captivates a precious memory!!!

p.s. Here are the "Art" quotes that I've written around the page:

1. A work of art is the unique result of a unique temperament.
2. The purpose of art is washing the dust of daily life off our souls.
3. Every artist was first an amateur.
4. Art is the only way to run away without leaving home.
5. In art, the hand can never execute anything higher than the heart can imagine.
6. In art as in love, instinct is enough.

Have a nice creative day and have fun!!!
Hugsss

"Live in full color" by Vicky

Hello everyone!

It's Vicky with you today and I am super excited as this is my 1st post for this blog!

Now, let me tell you something...when you have Susan's papers in front of you, you really want to make something happy, fun and colorful!!! The papers are so good quality and the colors so vibrant...I LOVE them!!!

So, inspired by that saying "Live in full color", I made a layout with a photo of my daughter surrounded by flowers!!!

I have used Susan's papers which I have cut out in stripes!
I did some fussy cutting too and used that lovely purple flower, the clouds and the circles!!!

I have also used the stencil!
The papers were too colorful so I applied some gesso in the middle and then I used Susan's stencil in various little places and applied distress inks with a sponge! The rest of the embellies are handmade by Purple Pumpkin!

My wish for you is to always try to live your life in full color! We only have just one life to waste it....

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL!!!!

God bless you and your families!
Have a nice day!!
Vicky
