Welcome to day 3 of our inspiration-filled, fun-filled festival during our team’s Creatastic Blog Hop.
Join us each day as we share amazing projects created by our Design Team members. The Crafter’s Workshop Design Team will be sharing projects they create over on their site too. Both teams will be using Susan K Weckesser Inc products as well as stencils by The Crafter’s Workshop.
Now, make sure you visit both blogs, because we are going to have some fun prize packages given away each day on both sites. You need to leave comments each day for a chance to win! We also encourage you to stop by and become a fan of Susan K Weckesser Facebook Page and The Crafter’s Workshop Facebook Page because that is where we will announce the winners!
Sandee Setliff and Daniella Hayes have projects for us today!
Here is Sandee’s-
I am in so much trouble because I didn't send my best friend a birthday card!! YIKES!
I whipped out my Susan K. Weckesser stamps, What's Up Gnomey? and The Crafter's Workshop stencil, TCW474 Hand Drawn Frames and got to work on a quick and easy card.
The sunflower is made from a paper towel that I sprayed with Dylusions Tangerine Dream ink. OK, I really didn't spray the paper towel, it was more like I spilled it all over my craft table and the towel was what I used to mop up the mess... shhhhh, don't tell anyone! But didn't it turn out great? I used stippled acrylic paint through one of the journal boxes and then cut out around the design. I also adore the cute little ladybug stamp which is a perfect embellishment.
I continued using the same stencil and stamp set to decorate the inside of the card and the outside of the envelope. I figured I better do a little extra decorating to hopefully get me out of the dog house!

Now to get this puppy in the mail!

And next up is Daniella-
What an awesome combination!!
The design team got a wonderful package from The Crafter's Workshop, filled with awesome stencils! I used mine with some fabulous stamps from Susan K. Weckesser and made an art journal spread and a card!
This is my finished art journal spread. The different stencils paired with the stamps is an awesome look! I used 2 of Susan's stamp sets, "At Ground Level" (for the bird) and "Heartfelt Warmth" (for the Love).
I used acrylic craft paints, from Bella Acrylic, with my TCW stencils
- TCW473~ Fireworks 12"x12"
- TCW490~ Tattered Lace 12"x12"
- TCW124s~ Mini Capricious 6"x6"
- TCW2049~ Heartstrings Fragments
While the paint was still wet on the stencil, I flipped it over and put the paint side down on a piece of watercolor paper. I used a brayer on top to get the negative image of the stencils.
Stencils + Paint + Stamps = AWESOME FUN!!
I cut a square from my reverse stenciled paper and used it to make a card.
Thanks for visiting today! Keep checking back this week because we will have TONS OF INSPIRATION!! And please visit The Crafter's Workshop, they have amazing products!!
xxDaniella
