I especially like the idea of letting my friends know how important they are to me and this simple card is so easy to make!
The pretty green background of the card is from one side of Susan's Live in Color scrapbook paper.
The reverse side has huge colorful blooms on it and I decided to create the heart from one of those flowers! I used a metal die to cut the funky heart shape. I liked being able to slide it around the paper until I was happy with the image it framed!
Next I pulled out Grandma's Needlepoint stamp set and water colored an image of my favorite little girl.
A little fussy cutting and she was ready to be added in front of the heart with foam pop dots.
You can see I also stamped some stitching details on the heart. I used alpha stamps from my stash to finish the lettering on the card and I know exactly who I am going to send it to now that it is done!
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you find some time to play today!
