Susan K Weckesser Inc Design Team Back 2 School Blog Hop
Welcome to the 2013 Susan K Weckesser Inc Design Team Back 2 School Blog Hop. Back 2 School for the kiddos sometimes means a little extra “ME” time for us parents. It also brings routines back to our day-to-day lives, though I realize for some this is more shuttle service for some of us!
Back 2 School can also be a great opportunity for art and crafts for yourself or with your kids. Our Design Team and Guest Designers have created a week’s worth of great projects to bring you inspiration and fun all themed around Back 2 School. We encourage you to visit each member’s blog and leave a comment and maybe find a new blog to follow. After you have visited all the team member’s blogs, come back to THIS POST and leave a comment below letting us know which project either inspired you or touched your heart. Don’t worry, you have all week to take your time and go through the blogs. We’ll feature a few each day here at Susan K Weckesser Inc, but will draw names from comments left on this post for our grand prize.
Here are projects designed by Susan K Weckesser to start us of with a bang!
“Back to school is such a fun time of year and you can make so many neat crafty projects at this time of year. You can take Back to School products and re-craft them into neat new gifts to give someone or you can make something new to give a student or teacher who is going to school.
First Project. ( I up-crafted a pencil holder. I made some Ice Resin paper with my painted sentiment stamps and stitched the paper onto the pencil holder that I fancied up with ribbon, charms and a vintage picture of my aunt.)
I also made a little wall frame for a neighbor's child first day of school with some Live in Color paper and a recycled frame.”
Our prize package is packed full of goodies from Susan K Weckesser Inc designer papers, Susan K Weckesser and Unity Stamp Co co-branded stamp set, as well as variety of Clearsnap inks and accessories.
Here is the list for ALL team members, but don’t panic, we will highlight a few each day so you can come back and visit a few at a time if you want because we know how busy you Moms – and Dads – are! You have until Saturday night 11:55 PM CST to leave a comment here below.

ReplyDeleteAwesome blog hop! Loved everyone's projects, but it's a toss up of the Lynne's bag or Tracy's project! But they were all amazing!

ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful hop! I really couldn't pick a favorite, I have two: Lynne's bag (LOVE that it is colored with Sharpies), and Tracy's scrabble puzzles, so so fun!
ReplyDeleteGosh, it is really hard to pick a favorite project because they were all amazing but I especially loved Rita's sweet bird themed notebook and JJ's wonderful layout! All the layered elements gave it such personality! Thanks for a great hop!
ReplyDeleteEverything is just fabulous but my favorites were the layout by JJ with those clouds and great use of embellishments and Tracy's scrabble tile puzzles! So many creative stamped projects.
ReplyDeleteI just loved everything but my favorite project is the book bag! It's fun and colorful and my grand-daughter would go crazy over it!! Thanks for all the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteThese are both wonderful makes Susan. How special for your small friend to have her first day commemorated.
ReplyDeleteFirst, Susan your creations always catch my attention and admiration! Love your pencil holder and it makes me want to grab some supplies and "spruce" up the couple of holders I have around here... Thank you for the ideas and you are always one I can turn to for inspiration!
ReplyDeleteSecond, Yes, the pencil holder caught my eye as I was traveling along this school blog hop this morning while waiting for the time to come to take my daughter to preschool this afternoon, but there were a couple of others I just had to PIN to remind me of things to make and do for that same preschooler. My daughter just LOVES to do puzzles so Tracy's Scrabble tile stamped image puzzle is now on my to do list. She also LOVES to play with my credit cards and notes in my wallet so I have been saving up used cards and little business cards and those fake credit cards that come in the mail to make her a little wallet of her own for her Christmas stocking. I plan to include little sticker sheets and such so she can decorate the little cards (which I plan to cover in scrapbooking papers for her) and make them her own. So that little envelope book by Jaine made my to do list too! Now I have some fun projects for me to do while my little girl is at school! Thank you EVERYONE for sharing your ideas and talents!
So many amazing creations! I LOVED THEM ALL!
