Stamped clips

Hello my dear crafty friends!

Welcome to my new small tutorial made for Susan K Weckesser's blog.

This time I decided to make something for the planners trend. And as I don't even have a planner, but I do use  small notebooks, I made a few stamped clips for my notebooks as dividers.

So here is my tutorial:

1. Stamp Susan's  houses with her Clearsnap ColorBox mini Pop ink in Mystery color twice using co-branded with Unity Tumbleweed Houses stamp set.

2. Color the houses with Susan's other Clearsnap inks in Fresh, Ice, Sky and Kiss colors and as there is no Susan's yellow ink I used another Clearsnap ink in yellow. Don't try to make the best ever coloring and don't afraid to be out of the lines as we are going to cut the houses later.

3. Cut all colored houses and make them 3d using 3d foam glue.

Glue the house over plastic office clips with strong paper to plastic glue.

Stamping on vellum card tutorial with Irit

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my last November tutorial made for Susan K Weckesser blog.
I didn't make step by step photos this time, so it's just the step that you can do to make this fancy card.
1. Make the basic card with stitched rectangle die and Susan's Live in color cardstock.(Use the back side for this card)
Add another layer die cut in smaller size using Susan's Colorburst cardstock.(Use back side again)
2. Die cut the third rectangle and die cut the honeycomb using Sizzix die. Glue the die cut layer as your third layer.
3.Make yellow cardstock matting and the diagonal cardstock layer and glue them over the first three layers.
4. Stamp the Susan's co- branded with Unity sentiment from In my garden stamp set with black pigmented ink and heat emboss with clear powder. Die cut the sentiment and make a yellow circled matting using Die Versions stitched nested dies. Glue the sentiment over the card as shown.
5. Stamp the big flowers over clear vellum from the same stamp set in the same way and hand cut them. Color the flowers with Susan's inks from Clearsnap using them as water colors (Kiss, Fresh and Snow).
Glue the flowers with clear glaze and cover them with a  glaze layer.
6. Add some rhinestones and three yellow circles around the card. Make faux stitching as shown with black pen.

Fancy tags tutorial with Irit

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new tags tutorial!

This time I made a couple of fancy tags with Susan K Weckesser's Unity co- branded stamps, Clearsnap inks including Susan's gorgeous mini ColorBox Color Pop inks and the most gorgeous Makin's Clay casted in molds embellishments that were painted in gorgeous shimmery paints from Art Anthology.

So here is the full tutorial:

1. Stamp two tags from The Garden whatnot collection with black pigmented ink and heat emboss with clear embossing powder.

2. Hand cut the tags around the stamped images and made two copper glitter hand cut tags a bit bigger than the stamped tags.

3. Ink the stamped tags with a mix of Susan's Clearsnap ColorBox mini Color Pop inks in Kiss, Fresh and Ice colors. Just use them as a kind of watercolor over the tags. 

4. And as a magic-  your tags are just done!
Glue the inked stamped tags over the copper glitter tags.
Tie the twine and glue Makin's Clay embellishments that were previously painted and add some pearls on the side.

I added a  couple of chipboard words to make those tags more artistic and not just  usual gift tags.

Altered Home sign with Irit

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my small tutorial post made Susan K. Weckesser stamps.

It's an easy art piece that you can make in no time and the stamps that you can can be totally different, just fill the " window" with whatever you like. I made it as a kind of " Home" sign.

Step by step instructions:

1. Cover the black craft store puzzle with a thick layer of white gesso and let it dry. You can  also recycle the old puzzle in about A4 size if you have one.  Use Rebecca Baer Mosaic Medium stencil with Texture paste over the puzzle piece and let it dry.

2. Mist the dry piece with  Tattered Angels blue mist and .... you know, let it dry!

3. Take out a few of the central pieces and make the " window" inside the puzzle.

Stamp Susan K. Weckesser " Home"  sentiment using her TUMBLEWEED HOUSES  Unity co-branded stamp set with her Clearsnap ColorBox Color Pop mini Mystery ink  and glue it inside the puzzle as shown.

Stamp 4 houses with the same stamp set in different Color Pop mini inks in Kiss, Sky,Ice and Fresh colors and  hand cut them and glue over the puzzle.

Mist the whole piece with gold mist of any company.

Paint your own rainbow art page with Irit

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my second  September post made for Susan K. Weckesser blog.

This time it's an art page made with lovely Susan's products and some recycling too.

So here is my small step by step tutorial:

1. Use texture paste  with stencil to make the bricks over the thick cardstock page that was covered with gesso.

Then I added some texture circles made over punched cardstock with the same texture paste  (not shown as a separate photo). Let all paste dry!

2. Use Susan's Clearsnap Color Pop mini inks to make the rainbow over the page. I also added Clearsnap yellow and purple inks to make the full range of rainbow colors over the page. The colors used here are Kiss, Sky, Fresh and Ice.

 Add a line of each ink over the the top side of the page and mist with water over it.

3. From this step over I didn't take the step by step photos and there is only written steps for the rest of this page.
First I added all flowers from Israeli post stamps booklet. I love recycling and those rainbow colors from the booklets are so lovely!
Now  stamp the Unicorn image with Susan's Unity co-branded stamp (Unicorns and Rainbows set) and color it with Zig Real Brush watercolors. Hand cut the unicorn image and glue it over the page with Gel Medium.
Stamp the " paint your own rainbows" saying using the same stamp set all over the page using Susan's  mini ink in Mystery color. Add a stamped rainbow image over the page and leave it in a very light colors; this is just a small rainbow we are looking for after the rain.

To my cool friend card tutorial

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my Cool friend card tutorial made for Susan K. Weckesser blog. This is a Mixed Media background card with Susan K. Weckesser sweet images and a lovely sentiment and it perfectly fits this month theme.

So here is how I made this card:

1. Use texture paste over the Rebecca Baer small sized Snow Flurries stencil . This size of  stencil is just perfect for the cards.

Let the paste dry.

2. Add a mix of Tattered Angels mists over the dry  stencilled image. Wait between the layers unless you want to get a " mad" over your card.

3.Stamp the couple of snowmen using Susan's Unity co-branded Snow Way stamps and her Sky Clearsnap ColorBox Color Pop Mini ink. Stamp each image twice as we're going to make some paper piecing later.
Stamp the To my cool friend sentiment too for the future use.

4. Color the images with Zig Real Color Brushes and then cut the pieces that we will use for a 3d effect.

4. And this is how the pieced and arranged images look on the finished card. All card was misted with golden mist , so the colors are slightly different after all.

And this is a finished card- the background white card and the  Mixed Media background were die cut with Elizabeth Crafts Stitched rectangles dies and I added a few random golden sequins.

Going Wild with Irit

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my first small tutorial post for September made with Susan K. Weckesser products.

I was not sure what this project will be, but it became the Mixed Media card. 

So here are all step for your inspiration:

1. Die cut the thick white cardstock with stitched rectangle die and paint with 4 different paints from Tattered Angels range. As you can see I didn't even use the green color, but the mix made it green with just a bit of other colors seen.

2. Die cut the circle from the painted panel with Die Versions die.

3. Use Susan's Doodle stencil and ColorBox Color Pop Snow ink to add some borders to the card.Let it dry or use your heat gun as this is pigmented ink.

   

4. Going Wild co- branded with Unity Susan's  set Fox was stamped with Color Pop mini Cocoa ink and hand cut later.

5. And this is a finished card.

The sentiment was stamped with the same Snow ink over the card.As this ink is pigmented let it dry for a few minutes or use your heat gun.

The fox was painted with Zig Real Brush colors and covered with glaze.

I also added the faux stitching with white pen inside the circle.

Going wild art tag with Irit

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my second August post made for Susan K. Weckesser blog.
This time I made a small tutorial for this lovely easy to make tag and it's just great technique for all of us who are not coloring artists.
So here is my tutorial for you:

1. Use Susan K.Weckesser's Unity The Garden Whatnot collection  tag (one of three) and stamp the image over the white cardstock with Susan's ColorBox Color Pop mini Mystery black ink.

2. Stamp the second tag from the very same Unity stamp set with the same ink and punch the 2'' circle with a circle punch (or use a die to die cut the circle).

3. Ink the stamped tag and the punched circle with Susan's ColorBox Color Pop mini inks in Ice and Fresh colors as shown. You can wipe the ink if it's too intensive.

4.Hand cut the basic tag from gold cardstock and add the second tag layer using Susan's Live in Color (backside) cardstock. Ink the patterned cardstock edges with ColorBox Color Pop mini ink in Shimmer (gold).

5. Stamp the owl image from Susan's Going Wild new released stamp set with Shimmer ink and heat emboss it with clear embossing powder. Hand cut the image and ink inside with a light layer of Cocoa Color Pop mini ink.

Stamp the sentiment with the same set and the same Shimmer ink; heat emboss the sentiment with clear powder. Hand cut the sentiment and ink with a light layer of Ice  ink and ink the edges with gold ink.

Arrange the tag as shown. Add a small yellow feather and a lace ribbon on the top of your tag.

Live in full color art page with Irit

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my first August inspiration made for Susan K. Weckesser blog.
Today I am going to share an art piece made with Susan's stamps, cardstock, inks and stencil and I made a small tutorial for you to follow.
So here we go!
1. Cover a thick cardstock with white gesso and don't try to make it perfect. We do want  those not so perfects borders after all. Let the gesso dry.

2.Use Susan's Doodle stencil randomly over the page with texture paste and make some vertical lines as shown.

3.Stamp the flowers and the leaves with clear embossing ink and heat emboss them all with black embossing powder. The flowers and the leaves are Susan's K. Weckesser co-branded with Untiy stamp set In my Garden. Add the background colors with Susan's Clearsnap mini Pop inks in Kiss, Fresh, Ice and Sky colors. 

4. Paint the stamped images with Tattered Angels High Impact paints. Those paints are  thick and even look as 3d paints.

5.Cut  cardstock title using Susan's Live in Color Tags and glue it over the page. Inks the edges with Susan's Cocoa mini Pop Clearsnap ink.
