Home Envelope Card

Hi everyone Steph Ackerman here today.   This month we've been asked to create tags.

Susan K Weckesser  papers lend themselves to cutting, inking, tearing and anything you might want to do.  They are incredibly detailed and a wonderful heavy quality.

I have a ton of envelopes and thought it was time to use them, just not in the traditional way they were intended!!!!  And this is a great way to use up tons of left over scraps.

The clouds were the perfect backdrop for the fussy cut house on the front of the envelope.  First I inked the tiny flowers from Susan K Weckesser  stencil with ColorBox Crafter's Ink.  Then I fussy cut the house from the pattern paper and placed it on top.  Home was stamped on a scrap because I thought this would be great to give someone moving into their new home.

"home" was stamped repeatedly on the card insert and a strip of flowers was added to the bottom to create a pocket to hold the gift card.

I tied May Arts ribbon to the card so the recipient could easily pull the card from it's envelope.

I had so much fun creating this envelope card.  Why not pull out some envelopes and create one today.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Build Your Dreams

Hello everybody!

Emmy here with a new project to share! I created this layout using a lot of different products from Susan K. Weckesser Inc., Susan K. Weckesser Inc. and Unity Stamps, Ranger Inc., Tim Holtz, May Arts and Tattered Angels.

For my background I used Tim Holtz "Cargo" layered stencil and different colors distressed ink pads. I stamped the alphabet washi tape with the Susan K. Weckesser and Unity Stamps "abc.123.washi" stamp set and Ranger Ink Archival ink pad - brown.

I thought the pattern of the stencil compliments very nicely the pattern on Susan K. Weckesser Whimsical Paper "Live Love Create".

I decorated the little buttons with a double color string from May Arts.

For my title I used Tim Holtz Nature Grungeboard. I altered the letters with blue and green embossing powders from Sparkle N Sprinkle.

I used Susan K. Weckesser Whimsical Paper "Beautiful Daydreams" to fussy cut the clouds and the stars. The house I cut out from the "Live Love Create" paper.

I created the small banners on my layout by cutting out the information strip from the pattern paper - yes, even there you can find Susan's signature style and use it to embellish your project.

The cute colorful circles I fussy cut from Susan K. Weckesser Whimsical Paper "Color Burst". I added Making Memories Grommets in the middle of some the circles to complete my design.

I hope you enjoyed today's post!

Come back tomorrow for more amazing projects from our design team!

hugs,

Christmas Themed Family Layout

Hello!  I hope you are enjoying your day.  It's Lee-Anne here and today I have a Christmas themed layout to share with you using Susan's awesome stencil, a snowman stamp for the vellum snowman embellishment,  that I can't seem to get enough of, and some patterned papers from Canvas Corp. I also sprayed some Tattered Angels Chalkboard Mist in Ferrari Red,  as well as some twine on the banner from May Arts.   The sketch was designed by Karan Gerber.

I hope you are inspired to get inky and messy and use lots of different techniques on your next layout.  Thanks for stopping by and have a lovely day!

Snowman Banner

Happy day!  It's Lee-Anne here and today I am sharing a winter/Christmas banner that I created with Susan K. Weckesser's awesome One Of A Kind Winter Snowman Stamp.  I love this stamp and I love snowmen (if you saw inside my home, you would agree) and I wanted to create a banner that could be doubled as a Christmas banner or a winter banner.  I thought it would be perfect on my fireplace mantle.

Snowman Banner - by Lee-Anne Thornton

Supplies Used:
Cardstock - American Crafts
Glitter Cardstock - Coredinations
Banner Diecut - Spellbinders Shapeabilites
Rosette Flower Die - Tim Holtz
Diecut Machine - Cuttlebug (Provocraft)
Embossing Powder - Sugarloaf Products
Mists - Heidi Swapp, Tattered Angels
Patterned Paper - Canvas Corp.
Punch - Kreaxions #312 Insert A
Ribbon - May Arts
Sequins - Unknown
Rubber Stamp - Susan K. Weckesser
Texture Spray ( Goosebumps) Imagine Crafts
The banner was created with some glitter card stock by Coredinations, a Spellbinder's banner die, a paper rosette die by Tim Holtz, a sheet of Red And White Reverse Patterned Paper by Canvas Corp., a paper punch by Kreaxions, some ribbon by May Arts, embossing powder, some Heidi Swapp Color Shine Mists in Primrose, Peach, Navy, Tattered Angels Chalkboard Mist in Cornflower Daze to "paint" the snowman hat, scarf and cheeks and finally some Goosebumps Texture Spray to give the snowman some sheen and texture.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you are inspired to try a snowman banner to decorate your home.

Hugs and Smiles!

Christmas Tag!

I am continuing to share the Christmas Love Campaign spirit.  I made this little tag with the products the sponsors had sent us, this is made with Fancy Pants paper, letter stickers and embellishments! The ribbon is from May Arts and of course the Susan K Weckesser Unity snowman stamp!  I love when paper manufacturers have a cover sheet with a preview of the paper that is inside, may times I have cut up that piece of paper to make a broader showing of all the papers!   Here is a piece of that paper, made into a fringe and place on the bottom of the tag.  I started off with a plain Prima tag.

After adding the fringe to the bottom of the tag I added the word snowman from letter stickers to the side of it.

Then I stamped the little snowman three times.  As you can see I changed the word from snowman at this point to snowmen! I coloured in the hat and scarf of the stamped images.

I then added ribbon and stickers to the tag.

Here is the finished product, pretty cute for such a simple tag. This will adorn someone's present this Christmas season.

Hope you enjoyed this little tag, take care and until next time!
Hugs Jennifer
