Little Haven Bookmark

Hello everyone. Larissa here with a cute little tag using Little Haven stamp set.

I am in the pre Halloween stage and decided to use those colors for my tag. I had a few of these large tags by Prima laying around so I stamped the house from the set Little Haven on it.

I then water colored the house using my Peerless water colors. I added a couple of clouds at the top. I wanted to use this card for more of a book mark so I did not put any embellishments on it this time.

And here is another total shocker, no gnome this time. I have been using that little gnome on so many things.

Don’t forget you have a few weeks left to play “Spot the Gnomey”.

The contest will run through September 13, 2014.

Hope you enjoyed my post today.

Check back tomorrow for more great creations from our Design Team.

More Intelligent Tag

Hi! Dana here today sharing a tag. With the new school year starting soon, I'm having visions of letters, numbers, graph paper and glasses. If there is anything I love as much as shopping for scrapbooking supplies, it's shopping for office supplies, so this is one of my favorite times of the year!

I covered a shipping tag with Susan K. Weckesser Live, Love, Create Patterned Paper. I cut colorful letters from the same piece of paper and glued them randomly onto my tag. I used the Susan K. Weckesser Live in Color Stencil to add numbers to my tag. I then stamped over the tag with the Susan K. Weckesser Splatter It Stamp. The grid pattern reminds me of graphing paper!

I inked and pressed the Susan K. Weckesser I am More Intelligent Stamp onto a piece of white cardstock and then cut out the glasses and sentiment. I aged the paper with Vintage Photo Distress Ink and then added a coat of glaze for dimension. I finished my tag with some colorful flowers and ribbon.

Album Of Inspiration Using Tags

Hello Everyone!
I can't believe that August is just flying by so quickly. Decided to share a fun project I made this month using tags. It would be easy to use pre-made tags but I really like to make my own.
Using some of my favorite products from Susan K Weckesser and Coredinations to make a fun Tag Book for someone.

Love this great core paper especially for embossing and distressing.
See how nice it looks embossed and then distressed.
I used Poised & Pretty and Painted Sentiments  on top of some fabulous Susan K Weckesser papers...did I share how great these papers are? The weight is perfect for any type project.

Such pretty designs that Susan designed herself
I wanted to share how I stamped, cut out and added this sweetie with pop dots for dimension.

Here is my cardstock album without the tags, I added some Umwow chipboard pieces to my ribbons.
One last look at my tags all dressed up. I am going to add inspirational poems or sayings using the words on the front.
Here is my tag book with tags all ready to share.
Thanks for joining me today.

oodles of doodles

OK, so maybe not "oodles of doodles", more like a few, but I just couldn't resist the title "oodles of doodles" :) It's just fun to say, kinda rolls of your tongue!

Summer sure is a busy time, isn't it?
It can be difficult to find the time to create something handmade as a gift, so for me, adding a handmade tag to a gift makes it special and shows that you care. They don't have to know that it only took you 10 minutes to make it! A little doodling, stamping and fussy cutting can make it look like you spent hours designing it, just for them!

Stamp this little sun on some yellow card stock, cut it out and voilĂ , it's done! It's a perfect place to write or stamp a sentiment inside of it too!

I used some shimmery Clearsnap Smooch Ink to color in the tiny house after stamping it on to a piece of card stock with some Stazon ink.  For fun I added a little stick figure couple to stand by the house...yes, I am that talented! lol

And don't forget to play along in our current contest...
We cannot wait to see what you all create and all the things Gnomey can do!
***The contest runs July 11, 2014 to September 13,2014.***

Home Envelope Card

Hi everyone Steph Ackerman here today.   This month we've been asked to create tags.

Susan K Weckesser  papers lend themselves to cutting, inking, tearing and anything you might want to do.  They are incredibly detailed and a wonderful heavy quality.

I have a ton of envelopes and thought it was time to use them, just not in the traditional way they were intended!!!!  And this is a great way to use up tons of left over scraps.

The clouds were the perfect backdrop for the fussy cut house on the front of the envelope.  First I inked the tiny flowers from Susan K Weckesser  stencil with ColorBox Crafter's Ink.  Then I fussy cut the house from the pattern paper and placed it on top.  Home was stamped on a scrap because I thought this would be great to give someone moving into their new home.

"home" was stamped repeatedly on the card insert and a strip of flowers was added to the bottom to create a pocket to hold the gift card.

I tied May Arts ribbon to the card so the recipient could easily pull the card from it's envelope.

I had so much fun creating this envelope card.  Why not pull out some envelopes and create one today.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Summertime Smiling

Good morning everyone. Larissa here with you today sharing a tag I made using
Susan K Weckesser stamps.

I stamped Washi tape from the set A Little Bit Washi.

This set is so fun. I stamped each piece in a different ink color.

I then stamped the Tree and Bird from At Ground Level on a piece of watercolor paper.

I used my Peerless watercolors to color them in. I cute them out and adhered them to the card using
Tombow Mono Multi Adhesive.
Of course had to add a little Gnome somewhere.

I added a piece of ribbon from my stash to the top with a bow to finish it off.
