How is your week going so far? I have been crazy busy but I try to always find time to get some art made. I had such a great time making a journal page using Susan K Weckesser products a couple weeks ago...I decided to create another one.
Here is my weekly planner I carry with me everyday. I used some of my favorite Susan K Weckesser papers. Did you notice I used both sides of the fabulous papers and just alternated the pattern. I must say these papers are such a nice weight and quality.
I wanted to share a close up of the flowers and the stickles I used to decorate and add dimension.
Now you know I had to used Fly Away stamp set for my journaling spots once again, last time I used the clouds, this time I used the sun!
I probably use this stamp set at least once a week if not more, it works for so many projects. My next favorite stamp set to use is these washi pieces, did you see how I added the design to some of the days?
Well of course I used this stencil to add some fun doodling and patterns.
I wanted to share with you what I do with my weekly pages after I have the base.
Each week I try to incorporate what is happening and what is on my mind. I am like a magpie adding bits and pieces of things I save or have in my supplies. My job as a personal Dementia care person always reminds me to respect and enjoy the simple moments. My family and friends always support me when life hands me difficult days. Our Pippie cat left our lives much to soon and this week was a monthly anniversary.
Did you notice I am a doodler? I will scribble and outline each piece I add and still add more stickles.
I hope I gave you some ideas or ways to use stamps in a new way.
Have a great week
These are amazing journaling pages.
