I got a wonderful box of goodies so I had fun creating with them and a whole lot of extra color too.

I love bird houses so I decided to create a whimsical one!

      
      I used crackle effect on the paint to get an aged look.
This look tied in nicely with the elements that Susan Lenart Kazmer had sent me to play with. I love it!

Summer CHA 2012 Sneak Peeks

Who doesn't love to discover and find new things!? In this world we are constantly finding beautiful bits of nature and color around us and as artists, crafters, and scrapbookers we love to try to duplicate the things we see.

I have had so much fun creating products that mirror the way I see the world around me, plus make it super fun to make colorful and whimsical works of art. I hope you enjoy my new releases as much as I do… because each one tends to make me smile and I wanted to make you smile too!

Summer Days….

Summer is so magical. All the color and all the life of each lazy day. Even as we run children around to swimming lessons or slumber parties it is easy to pack a pad of watercolor paper and paints in our bag and find a free moment to catch our breath and splash down some paints. I find it so relaxing to sit in the backyard, surrounded by my garden and take five minutes to paint, draw or write.It is wonderful to catch my breath, to look at all the beauty around me, and count my many blessings.Just a single poppy or a bumble bee can make me smile and make my day a millions time better.

Life can have its bumpy patches, but it can also be so beautiful! Just BELIEVE!
