Hello friends. Larissa here with you today with a little welcome home card.
I absolutely love these little house from the Tumbleweed Houses stamp set.
I wanted the focus to by on one house so I stamped the other little houses using a gray ink and then shadowed it with Copic markers. Then I added color to the one house for it to stand out. I then added the clouds, sun and sentiment. Above the sentiment I added the word Welcome using a black Micron marker.
I matted the card with a gray cardstock and matted it onto an orange cardbase.
There are so many ideas you can make with these little houses. I just really liked the way the muted shadows looked.

What a great idea to focus on one house Larissa. This is just an adorable card. What a wonderful treat it would be to receive this. And this will sound weird but my favorite part is the "imperfection" of it - it's just so quaint and sweet. j.
