Casting a gnome spell

Hi everyone, Sandee here today to share one of my first paper crafting loves....card making!
It is so much fun to create a small work of art.
It's also fun to alter a stamp, which will make it even more versatile!
This little gnome has cast his spell on me for sure!
I admit it, I just love him!!
I also love dressing this gnomey up for Halloween because he is so darn cute!!

I'm always looking for ways to change up a stamp. It can fit a variety of different themes this way. ( I can totally see him dressed up in a Santa suit too! )
I used an exacto knife to cut out the shape of his arm, that way I could slide the books of spells underneath. I added a small dollop of Helmar Liquid Scrapdots under his hand so that it wouldn't get bent during mailing of handling.

I also cut a slit up along the side arm so I could tuck his magic wand in. See how these 2 different cuts give him so much dimension?

I removed his pointy gnome hat and switched it out for a witches hat.
So easy but now he is a gnome wizard for Halloween!

He's all ready to be sent to someone, but they better look out....because he is going to cast his gnome spell on them and they will fall in love with him, just like I did!
