Healing Banner with Love

Welcome! Peggy here and I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas holiday!
Today I would like to share with you a project close to my heart.  I am sharing some love to someone special just because...
Today's supplies used are :
Canvas Banner
DecoArt Acrylic Paint
Faber Castell Gelato
Golden Molding Paste
Putty Knife
Golden White Gesso
Prima Embellishments
White Cardstock
Copic Markers
Fiskars Trimmer
Sookwang Double Sided Tape

I prepared my canvas with white gesso before stamping and let completely dry.  I chose to stencil first. I used molding paste and colored it with acrylic paints then using a putty knife I stenciled the background using Susan's Doodle stencil.
Next I stamped images on to the background with blue gelato's and purple acrylic paints.
I stamped my words from the Journal Doodles with a Heart collection onto white cardstock and colored in using my copic pens.

I strung them all together using  a border stamp from the same collection vertically hung.
Using prima's natural bark shapes I colored and glued them in place.

I hope you have enjoyed my banner! Have a wonderful New Year!!

A Reel Snowman

Hello crafty friends, Samantha here today and I would like to share with you a super easy Christmas decoration which is perfect for your tree or mantle.
I was a complete numb nuts and forgot to take photos during the making process so I hope my directions make things clear for you.
I began with an old wooden cotton reel and gave it a coat of gesso and then painted it pink. I added a turquoise ribbon around the centre. Next I cut a piece of wire and twisted the loop in the middle, which becomes the top and the two ends then go in to the centre hole of the cotton reel and glued in place. The wire also had a couple of coats of gesso and some white acyclic paint along with some glitter for Christmas bling. A cotton wool ball made some fluffy snow. I used a punch to make the snowflakes really easily by punching out of white card and decorating with glitter.
Finally I stamped the snow person on to white card and coloured using Prismacolour pencils. When cutting him out I didn't go all the way around to leave a tab at the bottom which was used to glue him in place.
Susan's wonderful Snow Way stamp set which is shown below can be found here at Unity Stamp Co.
I do hope you like my snowman and I hope I've inspired you a little. I promise to take photo's next time!!
Wishing you a wonderful day,

Sharing My Love This Christmas...

HAPPY, HAPPY HOLIDAYS Everyone!! (Can you Hear Me NOW?.. Grin)  I hope your December 25th was filled with friends, family, food and fun and that today you are enjoying a much deserved break and are able to fit in some play time, crafting time or what-ever-you-like-to-do-BEST time before this year ends.
Today, I am sharing with you some lovely, lovely christmas tags I created for my second design team project in December using the Susan K. Weckesser stamp set "World of Christmas" from Unity Stamps.

These stamps made it so easy to create some lovely vintage tags just by adding color, and I am using them to attach to bags of Christmas baking going out to random people as part of my journey on the 2015 Christmas Love Campaign.

I encourage you to join me in creating something, anything at all - big or small, to share with anyone just to "Share The Love" this holiday season.

Now, although these tags look complicated they were NOT! And they came together pretty easily using Ranger Distress Inks, a water brush to blend the colors, gel pens to highlight details and Ranger Stickles and Liquid Pearl to accent everything.

And I still find it magical how adding a shadow with my Copic markers just makes the images pop right off the page!I do Hope you enjoyed my projects this month and thank you for sharing a bit of my journey this 2015 Holiday Season. Have a delightful and joyful Day...

Faith -Art Banner

Hello Everyone,
Shilpa here,

I've created a Art banner, which can be used as wall hanging. I've used cute Gnomey from Susan's stamp set.

It was fun and quick creation.

I've used canvas banner from DT kit. First, I applied broken china, mustard seed and mermaid lagoon distress paints on the surface. let it dry completely.
Next, I applied Festive berries distress ink through star stencil, randomly on the surface.
Further for more interest, I stamped text with jet black archival ink.

Gnomey, butterfly and mushrooms are from Susan's what's up Gnomey stamp set. I colored the images with watercolor markers.

here is the final look of my banner..

Hope you liked this cute banner!

Thanks so much for stopping by today.
Wish you and yours Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Snowman Christmas Tags

Hello friends. Larissa here today with some fun Christmas tags.
I just love this little snowman from ONE OF A KIND WINTER {CHRISTMAS CAMPAIGN}

I stamped the little snowman and sentiment on a few tags.

I colored them all with my Spectrum Noir markers. Then to finish off the tags I added some twine to the top that matched the colors on the tag.

These are going to look so cute on my Christmas packages. These are fun and easy tags to create for your gifts.

Hope you enjoyed my post today. I will be back after the New Year with more fun cards. Don't forget to check back until then to see what the amazing design team creates for you.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year friends.

She faced the world with a smile :)

Hi everyone!!!

Noe here to show you my newest project! As sure you know this month our theme is "Sharing Some Love" as we kick off the 2015 Christmas Love Campaign, and create something to gift someone.

I love making cards and leave in them all kinds of positive messages so here is my first project for this month!

To make the background I used my distress inks, applying them  with my Blending Tool ... Then I sprayed water on  "In my circle" stamp and I have lobbied over my color background.

With a die I made a small banner, I put double-sided tape on the back and applied glitter on the front, pressing gently to glue it!

Finally I painted the beautiful girl stamp with my Spectrum Noir markers and contoured the card stamping  "She faced the world with a smile" feeling that I like so much !!!!

I hope you like this card... It´s very easy to make!!

Designer Chat with Rhonna Farrer

We have another special guest with us today for our Christmas love Campaign. It is a segment that I like to call ‘Designer Chat’ and I ask a few designers in the arts, crafts, and scrapbooking industry if they could share what Christmas Love Charity means to them. I also ask if they can share some of their awesome talents!

Today I would like to introduce you to  Rhonna Farrer! Rhonna has been a freind of mine for a few years now ever since I was so blessed as to stumble across her blog one day when she was having a design team call.  I had been a long time admirer of her love of live, her faith, and the beautiful spark that she loves to share with others on a daily basis. Not to mention, I totally love her mantra of "Uplifting and Inspiring" others. How awesome is that!? Her designs are full of joy and are guaranteed to put a bounce into your step. So, without further adu, here is Rhonna Farrer...
I’m honored to be a part of Susan’s #ChristmasLoveCampaign….

because who doesn’t need more love during Christmas? I love using my apps to create cards or tags for friends…it’s super easy to use with the pre-designed cards & then adding their names to it to personalize is even more loving…it makes them feel so special. I love creating the tags in Rhonna Designs app suite & then printing out either at Persnickety Prints, or at home. Either way, when you cut them down into
cute 2x2s or 3x3s, add to a gift or goody..you’re sure to #craftuplove for those friends, family or even strangers! Merry Christmas!
