Fun Tags

Good morning friends. It seems like forever since I have posted. Today I am back with a couple of tags I made with a few different Susan K Weckesser's stamp sets.
I used stamps from the following sets:

CREATE YOUR DAY

I took different stamps from each of these 2 sets to make these two tags.
I stamped each stamp using black ink and colored them in with my Copic markers.
I added a little twine to the top of each tag to finish them off.
I also added a little glitter here and there not sure if you can see it in the pictures

I think you could also use them for bookmarks as well as a gift tag.

Hope you enjoyed my post today.
Have a wonderful blessed Wednesday friends.

"...DRINK THE WILD AIR"

Susan loves to give us prompts for the month.  She always leads us on a super fun crafty path!  This month, she thought "Tags" would be wonderful!  She also gave us this quote to inspire us:

"Live in the Sunshine, Swim the Sea, Drink the Wild Air."
-Ralph Waldo Emerson

All I could think of was "Wild Air" and that made me think of KITES!
I made a Kite Tag!  Won't this be totally awesome on a gift bag or present?  I used Susan's beautiful papers to start, then I used her awesome stamp set "Fly Away".  The cloud was perfect in my sky, and the kite stamp fit perfectly!

Inside of the cloud stamp, I stamped 3 phrases from Susan's super duper cute "Love Ya Whole Bunches" stamp set.

I wrote the poem on the kite too.

And finished it with paper bows on the top and on the tail, again from Susan's paper line.

Thank you soo much for visiting!  I hope my Kite Tag inspires you to think of different shaped tags for your gifts.

Love Ya Whole Bunches

Hi everyone!
I am just loving our spring time weather here, all the flowers are beginning to bloom and I just had to break out my pastel colors and the Love Ya Bunches stamp set and do a little playing today.

First thing I did was to take my Core'dinations tag and spread some Tattered Angels Glitter paint across it, and while it was wet I dragged a dry paper towel across it which gave it a pretty background. Then I stamped the girl from Love Ya Whole Bunches stamp set from Jillian Vance, colored her in with pencils and Smooch Pearalized Accent inks and a SAI waterbrush and then fussy cut her out.

I then stamped some accent phrases on the background, and by placing 2 phrases on one acrylic block I am able to keep everything perfectly spaced.

Tearing off the bottom half of the tag, and layering 2 tags together just gives it a feminine distressed look.

I adhered the girl on top letting her drape over both tags to give it a cohesive flow.  Adding the "I love you" speech bubble is the perfect accent along with the little gemstone dot I placed inside the flower.

And look at that sweet little flower, I just had to add it to the corner :) The "to and from" are handwritten on the opposite corner with my micron pen along with the faux stitching that I added to the base of the tag.

All in all I just love her whole bunches!!

Easter Place Cards with Dana

Hi! Dana Tatar here today sharing some place holders that I created for my Easter table. I don't usually decorate for holidays, but I do appreciate a pretty place setting! I found these bunny spools at the store and altered them a bit to fit my needs by removing everything from the spools except the super cute fuzzy bunny ears. I wrapped the center of each spool with Susan K. Weckesser patterned paper and scalloped ribbon and embellished the top of each spool with a colorful twine bow and a flower. I used the NEW Susan K. Weckesser Grunge Fun 3x4 Clear Stamp Set, sold by A Jillian Vance Design, to create small name tags, which I then added to stick pins.

This project was fun and easy. I'm looking forward to displaying these cute place holders!

Thanks for stopping by today!
