Life is a growing process.We are constantly learning, changing and growing and that is why I am so excited that I have come to the point during my creative journey that I can create a Design Team for the products that I am designing. I have been so blessed the last few years to be able to work with wonderful people, manufacturers, and magazines and I hope to continue to put smiles on the faces of people.That really is the beauty of art….. it is so healing and it brings so many people together!

If you are someone that likes to inspire others, create things of beauty, be uplifting to those around you, while increasing your own knowledge of art & color… then this might be the Design Team for you.

Lazy Summer Day Stamping

August has been DELIGHFUL for us here at the Weckesser Homestead!

We have spent some time camping, relaxing, and just playing in the garden. It has been fun after a super busy year just to take a little time and play together as a family.

That doesn't mean that I haven't had my {CRAFTING} moments! While I was enjoying some quiet moments in Waterton, Alberta, I created a card using some chalkboard paper from Canvas Corp. I used some of Heidi Swapp's COLOR SHINE. Love it! It is a new product and the color is FAB!

Then I used one of my new co-branded Unity Stamps ~ Sail Away . I used some UTEE on the image.

  I used Clearsnap'S  wonderful smooch to color in the image. I love how the {COLOR} pops!

Even all the little critters had to come see what I was doing!

we had a lot of *SILLY* time!!!

A New Product to Create With in the Studio

    This morning the doorbell rang!

And it was happy mail!!!!

 The Crafters Workshop had sent the stencil that I had designed and they are so cool! They go so nicely with the Live in Color paper and all the Susan K. Weckesser Inc. / Unity Stamp Co stamps.

SO, I sat down and had fun creating right away! LOVE! I had some fun with a sheet of my scrapbooking paper that you can now get at Want2Scrap. I also used a couple of my stamps which you can find at Unity Stamp Company.

I hope that you have had a chance to see all the AMAZING creations on the Helmar and the Unity Stamps Company blogs that last couple of days during our cross promotion. The work has been beautiful and inspiring!

My stencils will be going for sale up on my website www.susankweckesser.com in the middle of August.

Take a Class with Me in the Fall….Registration begins…

I enjoy so much to share my {LOVE} & [EXCITEMENT] of color , creating, crafting & scrapbooking with others. That is why I am so happy that this fall I will be travelling to the beautiful City of Calgary to teach at 2 wonderful events.

The EVENTS:

Paint In Alberta; a Coast2Coast event 

 

September 13-16 ,  I will be teaching two wonderful canvas classes full of PanPastel, Clearsnap , new photo techniques, my new co-branded Unity Stamp co stamps, my new Crafter's Workshop stencil, & lots of other goodies.I will be also doing some Make & Takes that will be super fun!You can find out more information and how to register HERE.

 

The Great Canadian Scrapbook Carnival

 

I will be at the Calgary show in October. I For this show I will be teaching one fun mini art journal that is jammed packed with my paper pine and other embellishments. We will have fun using my new HUGE mixed media stamps, playing with inky goodness from Clearsnap, colors from PanPastel and experimenting with some new techniques on different surfaces.Since I am only teaching one class during the The Canadian Scrapbook Carnival & classes fill up fast…. register soon, you don't want to miss out on the fun!
